Victoria Care Group RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Victoria Care Group is committed to ensuring our clients and staff remain safe during this challenging time. Below is important information regarding how we are managing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Australian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the Victoria Care Group Executive Team has developed a detailed response to the pandemic to ensure our clients and staff remain looked after.
Social distancing practice of 1.5 meters at all times.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) continues to be available to all our staff.
Victoria Care Group encourages all clients and staff to download and register for the COVIDSafe App.
Clients and staff are encouraged to practice good hygiene, i.e. hand washing, covering sneezes, and regular sanitization.
All Victoria Care Group staff have completed additional Infection Control training specific to COVID-19 provided by the DHHS.
Staff is to phone ahead to advise if they are experiencing symptoms of the virus or feeling even mildly unwell.
All our staff is reimbursed for influenza (flu) vaccinations.
Victoria Care Group staff have access to a basin, hand soap, paper towel, and/or hand dryer to wash and dry hands.
We have ample stock of hand sanitizers available for all our staff to use.
Our staff and clients receive pertinent communication regarding COVID-19 updates.
